Adoptions for the week ending June 22: 20 animals were adopted! The following dogs were adopted: Jana, Squint, Chester, Fiddle, Ewok & Enzo! The following cats found new a new home: Gerald, Amstel, Scotty, Amber, Quentin, Novia, Daisy, Karl, Venus, Valorie, Valley, Daisy the calico, Brett & Brooke!

This 5 month old pup is pure FUN. While out on a hike she was doing zoomies of joy in the creek. She thought the water bottles were the best toys ever, and she really got a kick out of the water at the fountain.
Visit her Monday - Saturday, 12pm - 5pm.

Meet Vincent!
6 years old with plenty of love still to give. Just try to stop petting him and he will lean in and beg for more attention. So affectionate, this boy!
DEAF and PARTIALLY BLIND, Vincent is looking for a home with the patience to help him with his special needs.

Introducing Gentleman Clarence Shoff. 💛 When he was brought in by his finders, he was in rough shape. Eye infection, ear infection that went into his cheeks, debris matted into his tail and stomach fur, upper respiratory infection, and wounds were just a few things this special guy had to fight through. He never gave up and neither did we! Thanks to your support, G.C.S. got the care he needed and is now up for adoption! He is FIV positive but that doesn't make him any different! Follow the slide of photos his before and after and some information about FIV cats!

It's so hot out there that the blacktop was sticking to our animal control officer's boots! She took the temperature, and the ground temperature was 143 degrees!
Remember, if it's too hot for you, it's too hot for them!
Keep those pets indoors!

The following dogs were adopted: Molly, Nina, and Calla The following cats found new homes: Carpenter Bee, Taboo, Ralph, Arthur, Viking, Nelia, Maple, Oak, Holly, Shadow, Iris, Snorlax, Eli, Beans, Phoenix, Mr.Beans, Clue, Salome, Ellie, Crocodile, Twister, Yahtzee, Nanette, Pennbrook, and Matilda. Also, a chicken and Rabbit named Misty found a new home. Thank you to all the families who adopted!

McEntire is a wiggle worm who is up for adoption. She is working on her manners. She rocks at leash walking except when she saw squirrels and deer. She was very curious and excited about them! 🐿🦌 She loves chewing up toys and hanging with volunteers!

Join us tomorrow 1pm-3pm for a special Taylor Swift adoption event. A special adoption fee of $13 will be offered for all kitties adopted at the event.
Making friendship bracelets, enjoying Taylor Swift refreshments and jamming to her greatest hits will all be part of the fun!
Come to Peoria Humane Society on June 15th and see if “Sparks Fly” with adoptable kitties and find the cat of your “Wildest Dreams”.

Sheba is ready to leave motherhood behind and find her own family to spoil her! She'd like to hang out with you any time between 12-5 today!

Miss Boba is enjoying her stay at hotel PCAPS but she's ready for her own pasture. She is about 1.5-2 years old. Her hobbies include: eating breakfast out of her Kong Wobbler toy, snacking on fruits and veggies, and belly rubs! She has no problem telling staff to keep it down while she naps!

*She is available for adoption but you must be zoned for pigs. Adopters must be ready to take on the cost of a spay or keep separate from male pigs.*
