Huge shoutout to our Colorado Leak Survey team for their incredible response to an emergency request from Xcel Energy!

Late on July 31st, our team sprang into action to address an over-pressure situation in Ft. Collins, CO. Within 30 minutes, we had technicians on the way, and by 6 am, over 20 team members were on the ground, working tirelessly to survey over 1.5 million feet of main and service pipe.

Exciting Customer Story 📣. One of our first ELM MicroGrid customers faced an interesting challenge earlier this year: They believed there was a need to upgrade their power generation due to the domestic hot water demands but then we introduced them to ELM Solar and the Naked Energy Ltd VirtuHOT solution. It is the perfect complement to the existing PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) setup. Our VirtuHOT collectors will meet all the domestic hot water needs and assist with in-floor heating without needing a more costly upgrade to the existing power.

Join us as we kick off this exciting project! The team has already cleared the land for the new structure and is working closely with our product manager and thermal engineer to optimize the pipe layout to the buildings.

ELM Utility Services is pleased to announce Jack Pellerin has been promoted to Corporate Quality Control/Trainer!

Jack's journey with ELM began in Kentucky, and he's been instrumental in supporting numerous startup operations and areas needing extra help, including Texas, South Dakota, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, and Wyoming. Before joining ELM, he gained experience with two other contract locating companies and a private locating company, working as a technician, auditor, trainer, supervisor, and quality control manager.

Now based in Colorado, Jack's willingness to travel has been invaluable, especially for recent startups with Atmos Energy (TX), Nevada Energy (NV), Clark County (NV), and Cox Communications (AZ & NV).

ELM Utility Services is pleased to announce the promotion of Bryce Hughes as one of Tucson's new Supervisors! Bryce was originally hired in 2021 as a locate technician and was promoted to a HP/Standby technician a year late. He helped cover a large part of Tucson doing multiple infrastructure installations. Bryce has been a great asset to our team, and we look forward to his accomplishments in this new role.

ELM Utility Services Central Montana Trainer/Auditor Jason Marcinek recently encountered and reported a gas leak at a farm tap. (Farm taps, common in rural areas, act as mini-regulator stations that lower pressure from high-pressure gas pipes to distribution level.) Great week of customer meetings in Chicago, Houston and Dallas this week for Naked Energy Ltd and ELM Solar as we continue to blaze a trail in the Solar Thermal Industry! We were excited to spend so much time co-presenting with Christian Albrecht, Head of Commercial for Naked Energy while still having time for a tour and strategy session in our 125,000 sq ft facility and treat him to a proper Texas feast!
