It was an amazing day at Rancho High culinary class today where Guy Fieri Foundation was proud to present this culinary program a check for $22,000.00 to help improve the classroom and the lives of the students. Our foundation started with the idea of teaching young students about cooking and learning the basic life skills in the kitchen and has turned into so much more by inspiring the next generation of hospitality professionals. Keep up the great work Chef Christina and all the teachers and faculty at Rancho High!

Our founder and team are proud to support the FFA and 4H members at the Junior Livestock Pig auction in buying several pigs and donating the meat to and to support them and the community members they feed.

It also allowed us to help support June Trappe, who is raising money for her brother, Jett who has MPS-1 Hurlers Syndrome, a rare terminal non-curable disease.

We want to recognize our student culinary volunteers.
We like to invite the students and their teachers of our schools culinary programs to come along and experience first hand the meaningful work we put into our communities.
They help with food prep, cooking, set up/ breakdown of equipment and much more.
We feel that it’s important the students learn first hand what we do behind the scenes. It’s hard work but the overall feeling and outcome of helping others is worth it.
The students will build relationships with their community leaders, first responders, veterans and their peers while they’re volunteering at one of our events.
We hope the experience will inspire them to stay involved in their communities and become leaders in their own way.

It was nice to see Guy Fieri with the Guy Fieri Foundation at the Healdsburg Prune Packers game. We appreciate the consistent support he shows for his community and for our first responders.

In honor of the 80th anniversary of D Day we want to take a moment to reflect upon the sacrifices our military and allied forces made this day.

The D-Day operation of June 6, 1944, brought together the land, air, and sea forces of the allied armies in what became known as the largest amphibious invasion in military history. June 6, 2024, marks the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings along the Normandy coast during World War II. This event, ultimately led to the liberation of Europe.

Today we honor and remember those brave men and women who gave their lives defending freedom during their military service.

In honor of National Police Week, we are thankful for the sacrifices of the brave first responders who risk their own lives to protect the lives of others.
We appreciate our courageous police officers and their families.

We had the privilege in sharing an evening celebrating the retirement of Captain Randy England.

Randy served 27 years with CHP where he spent his last 2 years as Captain in his hometown of Ukiah.

Randy has volunteered with us for years and his dedication to giving back to his community is inspiring.

We look forward to having him volunteering with us more often.

We want to say, Thank You, to our volunteers from the Kelseyville HS Culinary program, Potter Valley 4-H club and Potter Valley FFA chapter. They did an amazing job helping us serve over 300 guests!

It was an honor to meet our first two scholarship recipients and .cloma.1 at the Art of Scholarship 2024 event last night. They are both passionate about the hospitality industry and pursuing life long careers in the college

The Guy Fieri Foundation recently launched a scholarship program to help fund the education of Hospitality Management students at the William F. Harrah College of Hospitality at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). The two scholarship were established to create opportunities for students pursuing careers in the food and beverage industry.

Scholarship recipients Delaney Cloma (senior) and Joseph Snyder (freshman) – both members of the college’s catering team – have their sights set on careers in the food and beverage industry.

The scholarship reflects Fieri’s lifelong passion for hospitality education and his commitment to giving back to UNLV. Fieri has served as a guest speaker during classes and scholarship events, a university keynote speaker, and a philanthropic supporter of the college’s academic building Hospitality Hall. To honor his dedication to students, both the college and the university have recognized Fieri as the Outstanding Alumnus of the Year (2011 and 2021, respectively).

“Guy is a great friend to UNLV,” said Tony Henthorne, dean of the Harrah College of Hospitality. “He takes time to interact with our students and teach them about the business. And with this scholarship, he’s giving students more flexibility to really focus on learning and building their careers.”
