🐠 Mermaid party 🌊
We have started offering all-inclusive parties! We will now offer pizza from our beloved and cupcakes, juice boxes and more. You can also choose either bee-themed decorations or custom decorations as options when planning a party with us. Custom means any theme you want (subject to availability!)
Our goal was to create packages that the fit a range of styles, budgets and bandwidths. 🌼We will also help book face-painters, make your goodie bags and send out your evites! Just let us know how we can help you 🌼 We want to simplify the party planning for you!
(And for those folks who like to bring in all of their own things, prices have not changed for our regular party so don’t worry!)
Lots of new options on the website available for you when you go to book! If you already have a party booked and are interested in any add-ons, let’s chat and I can try to make it work.
Excited to celebrate with you 🐠

I mean, what charm! A sweet, newly 5 year old wanted an Isabella-from-Encanto themed party and Beehive delivered with color, fun and a bit of magic 🌸
This crafty kiddo also asked for a flower headband making stand, which we stationed in the playspace so that getting crafty could be part of the action. A simple craft that brought the kids a ton of joy and added to the Isabella vibe.
Sharing the pictures of this party is the perfect time to announce something that has been a long time in the
making: all-inclusive parties! We will now offer pizza from our beloved and cupcakes, juice boxes and more. You can also choose either bee-themed decorations or custom decorations as options when planning a party with us.

I am packing up my home for a move that is both joy-filled and emotional because my two babes have become full people here (and I am who I am). I found the treasure of a lifetime while filling a box- my kindergarten class from when I was pregnant with M gave me advice on how to be a good mom.
I remember the day they gave it to me fondly and am now just in awe of how having a new baby is seen by kids- just give them the milk they need, buy them Godzilla toys and take them everywhere with you and all will be ok. Be love.
(Also, if you need help reading K writing I can decode all!)

What are you most excited to do at Beehive this October? 🎃 Let us know below ⬇️
When I had my oldest, I joined a small group of new parents at a now closed coffee shop called Chhaya on Passyunk. We would gather in a nook of the shop with our babies. I always sat on this brown leather couch and we would share the joys and how no one was sleeping and how our birth experiences were and how one (or two) tiny humans could make our lives so very, very full. I felt less alone and more confident because of these new friends that I barely knew but that came into community with me each Wednesday.
I loved the baby stage with both of my beautiful kids. My second, though, was born just a couple of months into the pandemic and I missed out on the comfort of being with my family, who live a good distance away, and from almost all of my friends. There were no New Baby Groups happening, because the world was shut down, and I missed the community of other people with new babes. I missed asking if things were normal to people going through it in the moment and I missed talking about laundry piles and late night wake ups with people experiencing those “milestones”. I mostly missed meeting friends that I would forever have that bond with- at whose kids I could look at and wonder how they are already 1 or 4 years old.
So after the pandemic, though I can’t remember the exact timing, Lindsay of The Nesting House meetup (that so many of my friends attended) connected with me- or maybe I connected with her?- and we started New Baby Group at Beehive. While Lindsay is no longer with group regularly, what she started at Beehive has become pure magic 🪄 and we are so thankful. and .body.advocacy now run our New Baby Group with care, compassion and joy.
We are thrilled to announce that New Baby Group will now be held on both Wednesday and Fridays from 9:30-12 ❤️ New Baby Group is and always will be free. We believe that community should not have a financial barrier. We welcome you to join us and bring your babe. We welcome you to come on time or to come late. We welcome you ❤️
Birthday Party FLASH SALE!
Do you know a ton of families have repeat birthday parties with us? Year after year they come back to Beehive to party and host their special events because it’s a fun, easy space to let kids go wild and adults visit.
I am getting a ton of birthday inquiries for winter months and our own 5th birthday is coming up in just a few weeks, so we are going to have a FLASH SALE to jumpstart our winter birthday bookings.
So as a thank you, because THANK YOU, we are doing the biggest birthday sale we have ever done- $100 off your birthday party total. If you book a birthday for anytime in the future (fall, winter, & beyond) you will get $100 off your total using the code below.
Use code Birthday_100 at checkout for $100 off your Beehive Birthday!
🛍️Calling (sm)all vendors for Beehive’s first Shop Really Small Saturday! 🛍️
We are inviting all makers, painters, crafters and inventors ages 5-12 to submit their proposal for our holiday market for kids, by kids that will take place on November 30!
In order to have a table at the market, the little vendor will need to submit a proposal (with the help of their caregiver, of course) to Beehive- which you can find in our link in bio. (If this is a barrier to anyone, please just let me know and we can chat!). Sibling and friend pairs are welcome to link up to share the workload and the table, but each table must have a supervising caregiver with the vendor the whole time.
All of the proceeds of each individual table will go to the vendors themselves. We do have limited space, so we will close the submissions when we hit maximum capacity.
Just interested in the shopping: The details for our market will be released later, but hold the date for you and your littlests to do their shopping! Think shopping at the tables, wrapping stations, and lots of opportunities for autonomy in their holiday purchases!
We can’t wait to hear all of the creative ideas for our Shop Really Small Saturday 🛒
