Porter's Day Care and Educational Center is a private family owned and operated educational facility that services children from ages 6 months to 12 years of age. We have an accredited program through NAEYC, and ranked 4 out of 4 stars by the Keystone Stars Program. We have been servicing our families and our community for nearly 40 years.

We are currently searching for Toddler Lead Teacher, for children ages 1-3 years old, who can effectively create and manage an attractive, warm, and challenging educational environment for young children, incorporating developmentally appropriate learning activities which meet the needs of the group as well as those of the individual child.

Candidates should also possess excellent written and oral communication skills, positive discipline practices, and the ability to create quality lesson plans.

All candidates interested in the Toddler Lead Teacher position should possess a C.D.A., Associate's degree in E.C.E or related field, or a minimum of 30 college credits in a related field; with a minimum of 2- 5 years of verifiable experience, a willingness to grow by completing a minimum of 27 clock hours annually and additional training as needed.

This is a full-time position, all interested candidates must be able to work a minimum of 35 hours per week.

As required by State and Federal regulations all candidates must have the ability to submit and pass; a Health Assessment Form, Criminal Background Clearance, Child Abuse Clearance, and F.B.I. Clearance.
