Brehon Law Society
The Brehon Law Society is a professional association organized to foster the profession of law among individuals of Irish ancestry.
The name Brehon is the anglicized form of the Irish word, breitheamh. Breitheamh is derived from breith, meaning “judgement”. The Brehon Laws of Ireland are among are the oldest known European laws. The Brehons of ancient Ireland were wise men of the family who memorized and applied the laws to settle disputes among members of the family.

The Brehons are saddened to learn of the passing of Frank Moran, a longtime member and past President of the Brehon Society and great supporter and friend of the Greater Philadelphia Irish Community. Please keep the Moran Family in your thoughts and prayers.
There will be a funeral mass at Saint Monica's on Friday, May 10th at 63 Main Avenue, Berwyn, PA 19312.
Viewing at 9:30 and Mass to follow at 10:30 am.

Thanks for celebrating St. Patrick's Day season with the Brehons! We had a great time kicking off the season at the Irish American Business Chamber Ambassador's Luncheon (special congrats to honorees Neumann University, John Cummins and Adele Farrell, co-founders, NEXA Enterprise Asset Management, and Larry Kirwan).
We also had a great time at our St. Patrick's Day party at Moriarty's Pub; the Philadelphia St. Patrick's Day Parade and post-parade party at the Philo Center along with the Friendly Sons and Daughters of St. Patrick, Irish American Business Chamber & Network, Inc. - IABCN and Irish Diaspora Center.
