It’s going to be a beautiful weekend. Whether it’s football or just hanging with friends get out the grill because there may not be many more days like this. Shout out to Marlene. Our hard working employee who was serving an elderly gentleman his order when she noticed he had “Zoned out”! He was passing out and she ran around the butcher blocks to stop him from falling. Other customers helped as well getting him a chair to sit on. After calling medics and getting him to the hospital we found out later that he had a heart attack and she probably saved his life because he was going to drive home after leaving the Market. Which means he most likely would’ve crashed and not gotten to the hospital.
That’s true customer service!

This afternoon we offered our Best Wishes to a good friend and customer niuniu._z as he heads to the other side of the country to study for his PHD. UPenn’s loss is UCLA’s gain. We’re going to miss you but look forward to seeing you in the future sometime when we can call you Doctor Niuniu!!

My last day of Radiation Treatment for my Prostate Cancer. 28 days that I’m glad are behind me.
Many thanks to the technicians at Pennsylvania Hospital who are the greatest. And to my support team headed by my wife, mgcrimi and to my neighbors, employees and friends.

Attended the Japanese A-5 Wagyu Masterclass Conference at the W Hotel this afternoon. It was extremely informative. In addition to a demonstration, I met and spoke with the Ranch representatives as well as their importers and American counterparts. I can’t wait to go to Japan to visit the Cattle Ranches.

The perfect kind of Beef for your July 4th BBQ. Australian Wagyu Tomahawks, Japanese A-5 Wagyu, Picanhas which are a favorite in the Brazilian Steak Houses, Ribeye Caps that are just as tender as the steak itself but lesser known and Flanken Style Short Ribs.
