“Who’s The Boss?” — The law in Pennsylvania doesn’t address what rights ticket holders have in the event of a concert postponement, as opposed to a cancellation, leaving the policies of sellers and the decisions of individual event organizers to dictate what options fans have.
Consumer advocates want to see more transparency in all aspects of the ticket-buying process, pushing to end hidden “junk fees” and make refund policies more clear. They are in favor of “the Boss and Swift Act” legislation introduced in the spring by Democratic U.S. Reps. Bill Pascrell Jr. and Frank Pallone Jr. of New Jersey, which would mandate disclosure of refund policies for concert tickets, among a bevy of other measures.

Philadelphia's primary election is 43 days away!
Why it matters:
The city's government is poised for a big reshuffling next year that will usher in a new mayor and City Council president along with at least a handful of new legislators.
Plus: Row offices on the ballot, including sheriff and register of wills, could bring more new faces to city government.
Between the lines:
The primary is the big election in Philly. Democrats who win in the primaries usually go on to win in November's general election as registered Democrats vastly outnumber Republicans.
Key dates:
May 1: Final day to register to vote.
May 9: Deadline to apply for an absentee or mail-in ballot. You can also pick up an absentee ballot application at the County Board of Elections Office in City Hall, Room 142.
May 16: Primary day.
*Be smart: Visit the Pennsylvania Department of State's website to check your registration status:
https://www.pavoterservices.pa.gov/pages/voterregistrationstatus.aspx?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=newsletter_axioslocal_philadelphia&stream=top
The intrigue:
Philadelphia voters are notorious for not showing up at the polls for primaries. A mere 23% cared to cast a ballot during the last mayoral primary in 2019.
Races in play:
Democratic mayoral primary:
This is the top ticket, with 11 candidates vying to lead the city for the next four years.
At-large City Council: More than 20 Democrats aim to fill five seats that Democrats have traditionally controlled. Only three incumbent Dems are seeking re-election.
Meanwhile, six Republicans are competing for the two at-large seats set aside for minority parties.
District 9 City Council: Incumbent Anthony Phillips is facing a pair of challengers for his seat in Northwest Philly. He only took over the seat last year in a special election.
Sheriff: Incumbent Rochelle Bilal is facing three challengers.
