Please join me on Friday for a special edition of Walk on By Class, an open invitation event. I was asked to conduct a Walk on By class at an event at Schuykill River Park. All are welcome to join. I’ll be there to assist new attendees with techniques.

Ideally no retractable leashes, preferably 4 or 6 foot leashes attached to a martingale style collar. This class is to help dog owners hone new leash handling skills and help them address leash challenges.

We will be in the area next to the basketball court at SRP.

This lovely lady is Lilian. Lily came to us as a retired breeder from a commercial breeding farm. She was happy to jump into our volunteer's car at the farm and leave that life behind. She clearly has spent lots of time in the company of people and is outgoing, spunky and silly. She is always up for an adventure, and would love a family that would introduce her to some of the things she has missed out on this far. Onwards and upwards!
Lily is an approx 6 yr old chocolate labradoodle and around 75 lbs (although she could definitely stand to lose a few). She is good with other dogs, playful and fun. She is doing well with crate training so far, although it still seems quite new to her. She has been around the 3 yr old child at the farm and reportedly did well, although she may knock a little one over with her enthusiasm.
Lily's adoption fee includes her spay, vaccinations and microchipping. She will also be heartworm tested and have basic vetting and bloodwork done.

Join us for our biweekly class to enhance your skills when passing dogs or people. This class will enable you the opportunity to fine-tune leash walking with your dog.

This class is for a Philly pack members only. You will need to have done a class with Krista in order to attend.

Please wear sneakers, bring some treats and water. if your dog is food motivated. Acceptable tools are Martingale collar‘s, prong collars, K9 lifeline transitional lead (aka the sidekick), or any other head halter.

We meet at the very last parking area inside the Navy Yard. Once you enter the gate, drive straight until the very end of Broad Street.
