God's Promises are Everlasting.
In John 14:27, Jesus assures us: "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." How profound it is to receive such peace from our Savior! Yet, we often forget to seek this divine peace amid our trials and tribulations. When we're troubled, anxious, or fearful, let us turn to God, for His peace transcends all understanding.
When we're feeling anxious, the Bible offers reassurance from Isaiah 41:10, "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold 'you' with my righteous, right hand."
Let's pray.
Dear Heavenly Father, I seek Your perfect peace, the peace that surpasses all understanding. Your Word is a constant reminder that You are my strength. I give You my anxieties, placing my trust in Your steadfast care. Please guide me along the path of righteousness, comfort my troubled heart, and bless me with peace and strength through Your Son, Jesus Christ, Amen.
