Herman's Coffee

A rare personal moment for us on here. This Thursday would have been our son Enzo’s first birthday. He was born three months early on August 22nd last year. We are fortunate and grateful to have spent two months with our incredible boy and want nothing more than to continue to honor and celebrate him.

Enzo was born and lived his life at CHOP, whom we are forever thankful for the care they took of him and love they showed him. Before he was born, he was diagnosed with Trisomy 21, better known as Down Syndrome, and we had already started making arrangements for him to continue at CHOP within their Trisomy 21 clinic. Though he may not have ever gotten to spend time at that clinic, we want to have part of his legacy be helping other children like him.

Each year to celebrate his birthday, we hope to make him proud by raising money in his name for CHOP’s clinic. This year, we will be donating 22% of all the sales at the cafe.

Who doesn't love a good Photo Booth situation? Our good friends and Pennsport neighbors, Dackel Photography, are celebrating their 15th anniversary with a Photo Booth here on Saturday, July 5th to raise money for PAWS (Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society). Bring the family, bring the dogs, bring yourself and get a fun Summer themed photo to help support the cause.

-Velvet Cupcake Bakery is hosting a special cupcake sale featuring their St Patricks Day inspired treats. Look for Irish Cream, Pistachio, and more flavors starting at 9am
-Freelance Pizza is coming out of retirement for a special PAWS (Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society) fundraiser. He will be selling slices of his famous pizza and we collaborated on a special mug that will be for sale. All sales will be cash only and 100% of the money goes to PAWS. This starts at 1:00 and goes till sellout.

Nothing goes together better than coffee and basketball. Well maybe not, but watching the Philadelphia 76ers is one of our favorite things to do when we’re not drinking coffee. So, naturally we made some limited edition basketballs and took one to the court with our favorite basketball photographer

Decked out in Sixers swag .robinson & took a break from pulling shots to start draining shots.

Peruvian dinner pop-up tonight with Manny's from 4-6:00. Who doesn't want roasted chicken and potatoes for dinner on a wet, gloomy day.

Two of our favorite food pop-ups are collaborating for a special Tuesday early dinner today. Paffuto & Burrito Feliz put together an Italian-Mexican fusion menu featuring birria calzones, porchetta cemitas and more. Dinner is 3-6:00. Full menu is pictured below.

We have a special mid-week lunch today. Chaat Dog is making the trip down from Brooklyn today to serve up his Desi-American twist on hotdogs here from 11-3:00. There will also be veggie dogs available for those looking for a vegan option.
