Philadelphia Literacy Day offers free books, community support and more – Metro Philadelphia On Saturday, Sept. 7, Philadelphians are invited to celebrate Philadelphia Literacy Day with children’s book authors and illustrators, free books, community resources and more.

Thanks, once again to Running Press – Philadelphia Literacy Day 2024, a Read by 4th Reading Festival Event, will feature so many authors and illustrators ready to meet you and sign some books!

So honored to have been a part of the Philadelphia Flyers Literacy day! 🌳🧡 Children were able to pick out books from our Traveling Tree House and two other AMAZING book buses. Our Tree House Books team gave away over 180 books at the event.

Thank you to Comcast Spectacor, The Tortorella Family, The Philadelphia Flyers, and CamCare for opening up this important space!

Our Managing Director, Tangie served on the committee awarding grants though the Neighborhood Literacy Fund of Read by 4th. Our Giving Library Manager, Emma, also attended the awarding celebration! We love our community literacy partners and are proud to be a part of this vibrant community!
