Things are warming up in the valley of the sun and it’s time to switch back to the warmer weather skin care routine. As it goes for the winter here as well never forget that SPF, and always protect your eyelids, your lips and your ears. Keep a your SPF in your bag for reapplying throughout the day as needed. Many people make the mistake of only applying SPF one time a day, when in fact you need multiple applications. Use a light moisturizer during the day allowing the skin to breathe preventing clogged pores, use a thicker restoring moisturizer at night to keep skin moisturized. Keep yourself hydrated! Keeping your body hydrated is key to keeping your skin moisturized. If your cells are not hydrated your skin will not retain moisture. Hydration starts from within- so drink up! Add a weekly hydrating mask, hyaluronic acid is a great ingredient to look for in a summer mask. Use breathable foundation, or even better use a tinted SPF making it easiest to reapply throughout the day keeping your face fully protected.
