REMINDER: Parish Advisory Council Meeting tonight (Tuesday, 5/14) at 7PM in the hall.

As the Paschal Season winds to its end this year, the Church presents us with several Old Testament saints. Just this week, we celebrate the Holy and Righteous Job, the Long-Suffering as well as the Holy Prophet Isaiah. Job was likely written by Moses, and Job was likely a contemporary of him. He is traditionally considered to be the same as Jobab, the King of Edom (descendants of Esau). In the image depicting him, he is shown with his three "friends" who foolishly accuse him of unrighteousness.

The temps are rising here in Phoenix, so its time to restock our Food Pantry with non-perishable items and cases of bottled water. Items can be placed in the Food Pantry basket (look for red sign) at the front of the sanctuary. Hours: Tues-Sat, 8-4 and Sun, 9-12.

Dear Parishioners & Friends of St. Stephen Cathedral,

This coming Easter Sunday, after the morning Liturgy, there will be the blessing of Pascha baskets in the parish hall. Added to this will be a "Pascha egg pinata" for the children to dispatch for whatever goodies it may contain.

Folks are also welcome to enjoy their festive food baskets and fellowship with one another in the hall after the blessing. Come and join us!
