Empathy, sensitivity, altruism. Are they gift or curse?
These 3 words often define me. For a long time I have seen them more like curses than a gifts, a thought corporate world does not really give them credit.
Although now, in my dream life as a photographer witnessing love and documenting your happiest moments they are the greatest gift on earth.
As a comic book fan I could almost identify my profound empathy as Spider-Man’s sense, his ability to sense and react to danger before it happens. Although for me it is about strong emotions and not danger 😅
What nature do you think your ideal photographer should be?

Do you want to know my theory? The one about why Santorini is a dream to photograph ?
Since you ask for it: 😇
White is neutral, timeless, and bounce light back it soften shadows.
Blue is the opposite color or orange (closest to skin tone) on the color wheel.
As a consequence, the combination of white, blue and skin tones naturally pops!
Oh and Greek cuisine, music, parties, beach, churches, architecture, calderas… 😍🇬🇷😍

🌑Dead Space 🌑
Could be a sci-fi title but here we mean composition, the empty space on this image is meant to be, it was my choice when I pressed the shutter.
Why?
Why not.
But seriously, it is a way to illustrate the couple is moving, toward their new life, with smiles and twirling, toward this blank page where they can write the story they want, guided by love and trust.
Also, you start to know me, I like this kind of minimal, pure image for prints, frames. I think it would work amazing as a thank you card or a frame with the vows on it, like in the 3rd and 4th slides.
This image also shows the importance of second shooter, this is a specific angle and if I was not shooting for I don’t think I would have taken the risk to climb on the mezzanine and abandon the most obvious angle from the dance floor side.
