Hello! My name is Darcel & I am the proud owner of Blue Corn Bakery.
I specialize in anything and everything blue corn.
Cupcakes, Cakes, Cookies, Tortillas, Yeast Bread, Cinnamon Rolls, Donuts, Blue Corn Mush, Tamales, Navajo Cake, Biscotti, Waffles, Cake Pops, so on & so fourth.
I also make burritos made with fresh Navajo tortillas & cater events with Navajo food that remind me of home & my childhood spent with my late grandmother Agnes.

🌯Spam Burrito: This bad girl is not all potatoes. Using 1/3 can of fried spam per burrito this burrito satisfies. It also has a whole roasted green chili inside along with roasted corn. Handmade Navajo tortilla to wrap all the delicousness inside.

🥣Blue Corn Mush: feeling a bit tradish? Try some blue corn mush made with juniper ash and fine blue corn flour. 16 oz re-useable container. Microwave safe.

🥤🧊•🫖🍵Hot Sage Tea: Brewed to perfection like masani made it. Absolutely refreshing and delicious. Enjoy a cup iced or hot.

🧁Blue Corn Cupcakes: blue corn cupcakes made with fresh organic blueberries and whipped frosting with pinions right in the center of the frosting. Topped with a fresh blueberry. So delightful!

Blue Corn Bakery Placed 2nd with only a single entry this afternoon at the frybread cook off in the unique recipe category.

I am so thankful for the opportunity I was given.
Let me tell you making frybread in 105 degree weather wasn’t easy. I’m so grateful for my late grandmothers teachings & how I paid close attention to her cooking since I was 6 years old standing on that chair in her kitchen while making bread with her.

I made a blue corn frybread infused with pinions, a homemade sugar free strawberry sauce, fresh strawberries & blueberries along with ice cream topped with more fresh roasted pinions.

I would also like to touch base on how important sobriety and healthy living is. I’m so inspired every time I come out to blue sage when I see all the sober healthy active happy natives.

It is definitely a blessing to be a part of their events they host every month.
