7.3L Short Block Coming Together Today

Doing a compression test on a that's been sitting for many years. Had to remove glow plugs and get some penetrating lubricant in the cylinders to get it moving and after playing with it for a bit we got it to start!

This 6.0L has a leaky EGR cooler. Time to give it some bulletproof treatment!

This was a fun one. The center post of this 7 pin trailer connector was left loose and fell out and was floating in between all the other pins causing intermittent shorts between different circuits.

Another Ford 6.0L Stand Pipe bites the dust. A common leak in the high pressure oil system which was causing a no start condition when the truck was at operating temperature.

Ooof... Never what you want to see from your oil pump. This 6.0L Powerstroke had a lifter failure and the needle bearings have gone through the oil pump.

Just finished up this AMSOIL INC. dual remote oil bypass filter on a customers very clean Ford F250. These kits provide great filtration protection against wear and oil degradation, and always allows analytically clean oil back into the engine.

Some of us have known for a little while but the long awaited debut is here!
S&S has released their game changing drop in replacement for the 11-19 Ford CP4.
It is an entirely different base pump not subject to the same type of failures that the CP4 is known for. Being tried and tested in other markets it will now be available as a stock drop in replacements for Fords.
Luke makes a great video below explaining everything.
