🌟 Employee Highlight of the Week 🌟
Everybody meet student worker Eryn Schmidt.
Eryn is a hardworking sophomore in our Hospitality Management program. She joined our team last September in public areas. But with her hard work and dedication to help others, she has expanded her skills throughout the hotel and is now continuing her passion for hospitality as a front desk student worker.
Being involved in GCU's christian community and the hospitality club have been a comfort for Eryn as she studies out of her home state of Colorado. Once she graduates, Eryn wants to progress her career in the world of event planning.
Everyone at GCU Hotel and Canyon 49 are excited to watch Eryn succeed and grow. We are especially thankful that we get to keep her on our team for a bit longer.

Say hello to student worker Bailey Antrim!
Bailey is soon to be one of our new Hospitality Management graduates as she completes her undergrad degree this December. Bailey was hired a little over a year ago and has been making waves ever since. She started off in our public areas department and was quickly promoted to front desk. With her diligence and hard work ethic, she was asked to serve as our staffing admin during her last semester.
Bailey is an avid foodie with a keen interest in mixology. One of her favorite past times is to go to cocktail hours, try a new drink, and recreate it at home. She hopes to translate this passion into a career, by owning a female runned and managed bar. A place where women of all ages feel comfortable to come and enjoy nightlife.
We are so thankful for the time that we have had with Bailey on our team. And are excited to see what the future holds for this friend of ours!!!!

We sure are missing the pool days lately but we hope that everyone is staying safe and healthy! We are praying for the best for all of our students, staff, guests and everyone else!
