🐾 We have some incredible news to share! Thanks to a generous $12,000 grant by The Grey Muzzle Organization, our Bridge the Gap program is able to provide financial aid to more families and their senior pets in need, just like Odi!

Odi's story is just one example of how The Grey Muzzle Organization paired with the lifesaving care of AHS are making a real difference in the lives of deserving pets and their owners. One of the recent recipients, Christopher, applied for assistance for his 10-year-old dog, Odi, who suddenly became unable to walk and was experiencing other health issues. Christopher was unable to cover the necessary vet expenses at the time, but thanks to the support from Grey Muzzle, Bridge the Gap was able to cover the ENTIRE down payment for Odi's necessary medical services. We are so grateful for their support in helping keep senior pups and their families together!🐶🧡

RESCUE UPDATE: Simone is recovering and now available to adopt at our Papago Park Campus!⬇️⬇️

Earlier this month, a Good Samaritan found Simone wandering the streets of Phoenix with a trampoline spring embedded in her leg. AHS veterinarians quickly jumped into action to remove the spring. Simone has now made a wonderful recovery and miraculously has no lasting damage to her leg!🙏

A true Husky through and through, Simone is an energetic, 1-year-old pup who is looking forward to her next (trampoline free) adventure in her future forever home!😆

ADOPTED: Maxine, our fairy princess, had a video go viral last week that made her wishes come true!🧚‍♂️🐾

It was love at first sight! Maxine’s adopters saw her social media post of her with her fairy wings and fell in love. They came in specifically for Maxine on Saturday after seeing her online and knew she was a perfect fit for their family.

We are so happy that after 81 days, Maxine finally found her forever home. Happy sweet girl! 🧡🥰

This is Oreo, formally Bruce. He came in with his mama and littermate and had spent some time in a foster home until he was old enough to adopt. This little girl was in our summer camp and fell in love with him while walking through the kennels on day one. Every day, her and her Mom would visit with him. When they would leave, he would meow and meow for her to return. Until fate finally crossed their paths...

"Thankfully his former foster family changed their mind and he became available the last day of her camp. The timing was everything. Meet our sweet Oreo, he is one loved little kitten."
