The word is officially IN and it's gotten very REAL... Or at least it's official. 2Advanced Studios (Co-founders Eric Jordan and Tony Novak) will be speaking at DDD (Digital Design Days) in Milan, Italy this October 6th-8th. The event expects anywhere up to 5K people, so it promises to be an amazing conference. 2Advanced Studios RE:TURN 2024

Somewhere around the middle of 2008, we got in our heads we would NEVER find the right conference table. After visiting a "cement fabrication" company in San Diego, our Eric Jordan decided he was going to take on the task of designing the ultimate 2A conference table. with 3 main slabs and weighing in at a total of nearly 1.5 tons, we ended up with the most impressive piece of furniture we had to date... Funny what a little determination and some badass 3D / Photoshop skillz can do!

Riddle me this... So, we have Apple's Sonoma which ditched QuickLook of EPS (and now even the workaround is dead) and Shutterstock delivers all our vectors in EPS??? For those that download vectors from Shutterstock (100's if not 1000's) do you literally convert every file? (I'm guessing PC peeps don't have this issue?).

It's so annoying to traverse a couple 1000 of these at the directory level only to get the default EPS without QuickLook. So, Dear Shutterstock... in 2024, why you not give us PDF or SVG instead? 🤣😂🥲

2A Office in 2008, using our "Real Life Kanban" board planning a Call of Duty Site -- Yep, our whiteboard wall ended up using black dry-erase wallpaper with blinding purple fluorescent lights, markers, and an endless supply of post-it notes. One of those ideas that sounded way more awesome at the time... But was TOTALLY Impractical.... 🤣😂🥰. (Hard to work when we constantly feel like we're at a "rave").

A 2Advanced "Throwback" (circa) 2013 as co-founder Tony Novak and Creative Directors "Junior" and "Sket-one" show how a well-rested day of casual creative design used to go down in the office...

Been playing around with Next.js on the 2A Site (actually just making sure our Node.js and Tailwind are playing nicely and working). So now the logo has a little blue glow and some firefly particles. It's probably broken on mobile because we just use a "mobile second" approach, right? 🤣🥳

We jest... but at times, you really don't want to sit and test mobile, you know?
