Myth! 🤯
Break a leg" is an expression that means "good luck" and is often said to actors, dancers, and other performers before their act. The phrase is believed to have originated in the American theater scene in the early 20th century. Performers believed that saying "good luck" would actually bring bad luck on stage, so they would tell each other to "break a leg" so that the opposite would happen. ✨🎭
