Physical Culture’s Youth Sports Performance CAMP is Back!
Athletes age 10-13 will learn how to train safely, and develop a foundation of strength and athleticism this Summer.
If your kid desires to become a better athlete, or they just need to keep working and spend less time inside watching TV or playing video games this summer, CAMP Registration is now open.
This Summer we are only opening 10 spots for new athletes, make sure you grab your spot before we fill up.

Should Youth and High school athletes train like the pros?
Absolutely not…
In fact, this may be the most common mistake we see young athletes, parents, and coaches make with training.
Over the past 20 years of training youth, college, pro, and Olympic athletes we’ve discovered what actually works.
The secret sauce:
Consistency, Effort, and Intelligent Programming.
Consistency: many athletes think they only need to strength train in the off-season, this is probably the worst mistake we see young athletes make in their development.
Effort: There’s a sweet spot.
Too many athletes and coaches over do it and focus on the wrong areas because they don’t understand how adaptation actually works…. The opposite side of the spectrum is the athlete who doesn’t work hard enough because they lack the discipline and mental fortitude … both can stagnate an athletes progress
Intelligent Programming: Everyone thinks they know how to train because they “work out”… The truth is, Developing young athletes is a complex process that changes over time. Young athletes are weaker, less coordinated, and lack the attention to train like a pro.
That’s why we take a long term approach to developing athletes….
We believe that by teaching athletes how to move and train in a manner that is developmentally appropriate while building their focus, effort, and confidence over time will allow them to thrive in any competitive environment.
