Piedmont Farm Tour | Carolina Farm Stewardship Association This Earth Day weekend, reserve Saturday and Sunday, April 22-23, for two days of rolling pastures, cute animals, and crops galore! We’re delighted to open 31 farms across the Piedmont of North Carolina to visitors for a weekend of farm fun!

We're thankful for our relationship with Postal Fish Company! They give us shrimp shells and fish remains and other ocean creatures whom we use for soil conditioning and fertilizer. These gifts from the sea are LOADED with micronutrients that feed our soil and make our produce nutrient dense and flavorful. We use these gifts with gratitude and respect to the creator and to the created.

For the first time in several years, we're expanding our CSA and have spaces available! Ours runs from October 2022 through April 2023 and assures you of receiving the first and best of our seasonal offerings. We enjoyed these delicious haricots verts tonight for supper. They may be the best we've ever grown! Sautéed them in some olive oil with a little sea salt, so simple and so good. We'll have some for you tomorrow at the Thursday Pittsboro Farmers' Market from 3 until 6 at Main Street station. Come see us!
