More pics from the a few weeks ago. I’m really bad at sharing content regularly so here’s a dump of what else I wanted to share.
I’m bad at posting pictures in a timely manner. This one is from my trip to the other week. I feel like this could be a fantastic meme.
A few day time pictures of the Asian lantern festival from last week. This was my 10th year in a row going on my birthday. I started it just as something fun to do and to capture some pictures. Then I was like, I’m gonna be the guy who’s 80 on the news for going every year. 🤷🏻♂️. Enjoy! More to come of the actual animals.
A few pics from the 1 year old shoot I did last weekend!
Dan and Allie were incredible, but little Cheyenne stole the show! As she should with her first birthday coming up!
If you’re interested in something like this, shoot me a DM and we can chat!!
Quick preview shot from a one year old shoot I did today with literally the easiest couple and easiest baby to ever work with.
is a buddy of mine from when we both worked at Kennywood back in the day. Super stoked that he and his wife() put their trust in me to get some awesome shots! When your subjects make it easy, of course you’re gonna end up with something so perfect!
More to come. If you’re interested in a session like this, hit me up and let’s have a chat!!

Hello hello, is this thing on? It’s been a hot minute!!
If you’re not challenging yourself, then you’re not bettering yourself.
My cousin asked me recently if I’d take some photos for her son’s first birthday. I get nervous that people won’t like the pics I take, or that I’ll mess them up. This is where my challenge came in. It helped that and were super easy to work with, and the kids were too!
We headed into Penn Hills Community Park, and ended up with some really good stuff. I’m really glad I took the chance because I was able to make someone else happy and that’s what this rock is all about, right?!
If anyone else is interested in a shoot like this, or anything else really I’d definitely be willing to give it a go as long as I’m free when you are! Shoot me a DM and we’ll chat!
Finally got to Kentucky this weekend and hit a few distilleries. This is something I’ve been wanting to do for a while now. We hit up first and I was SUPER stoked because they make my favorite bourbon, Basil Hayden. The tour is absolutely unreal. It’s very polished, informative, and you get some tastings of their products.
This shot is up an elevator “shaft” in the barrel warehouse you get to walk through. I walked through the door and just happened to look up and see this looking back at me.
If you head to Louisville in the future, do this tour!!
Here’s another one I really liked from this morning. This gives me big horror movie vibes.
Hello friends! It’s been quite some time since I’ve posted anything. I don’t think I took my camera out a single time over the winter, which stinks! Hoping to dive back into that world very soon.
Anyhow, I’m sure everyone saw the crazy fog this morning when they woke up. The scene in Oakland was crazy! I only had my iPhone with me, but was able to get some pretty cool shots of and anyway. Cheers!
Just happened to be in the right place at the right time yesterday to capture this! runs a Santa Express out of Hollidaysburg, PA. Super cool to see!
Waiting on that holiday weekend but cruising through a 3 day work week be like…
I absolutely love the color of tigers. They’re a gorgeous animal.

The gorillas are my favorite animal to watch at . I’ve probably said this here before, but I could sit and watch them for hours. Their mannerisms are so human like. It’s just so cool to watch.

I started a tradition to go to the , and Delcua’s, on my birthday(October 6) like 8 years ago, I think. I forget the number now.
and I went this year and I managed to get some GREAT shots. The first two I’m sharing are of the lions. I was pumped to see the lioness show the alpha male some affection while we were there and catch it. 😍
On these dreary days in the Burgh we all long for some sunshine and color. Just gonna drop some more of these pictures from Kinzua on my birthday for ya to hopefully brighten your day!!
The warmth in Pittsburgh kind of screwed things up here in terms of seeing bright colors for an extended time. I don’t think any brights we get will last. 😡
Years ago when I still worked summers at I called the Racer my home. The Racer and Skycoaster were part of crew 506. We also had paddle boats for one of the four summers I was on those rides.
I’ve always loved how the lagoon looked with the reflection from the Racer lights and facade and have seen some great pictures of it in the past. It looks different now than when I was there, with the obvious being the Steel Curtain looming over.
The Racer is still one of my favorite wood coasters, and I’m pretty sure it will be forever.
Fun fact: it is one continuous track. 🤪
I was asked a few months ago if I would do an engagement shoot for some friends of mine. Up to the point of this shoot I’d never worked with humans, and hadn’t done anything of this kind. I was nervous, but also excited to challenge myself to something new.
I’d hoped the leaves in the area would be more colorful but with the warm weather this year, we haven’t been so lucky.
That being said, I am SUPER stoked on how these turned out. I’ve got lots to learn like how to pose and different angles and stuff, but I love what we were able to shoot here!
Thank you Ali for giving me the opportunity and having faith in my abilities!
Decided to bring my camera and gear with me yesterday before I started my shift as a haunt actor at .
As most of you may know, the Phantom’s Revenge will look massively different next season. They’re painting the track purple and it’ll be a nice change! I’m glad I was able to get these with the green track though. It’s been 20 years since this iteration of the Phantom opened. Can you believe it?!
More pictures to come over the next few days!
Some more pictures from Kinzua last week. You’re able to see just how bright and colorful the trees were in these ones. Still amazed by the reds and oranges.
Two more from Kinzua today. I’ll be posting more of the colorful leaves over the next few days.
These are probably my two favorites from that day. Me looking up from down below, and it worked out PERFECTLY that a human was looking down through the glass floor. Take that in some kind of artistic/message kind of way that we can see beauty from above or from below, if you want.
I went down the trail and stood on a spot you’re not really supposed to stand on. I wouldn’t recommend it if you don’t have a good center of gravity or good balance. I was looking straight up, through the view finder.
FINALLY got up to Kinzua Bridge State Park thanks to some baller planning by my lady. The timing couldn’t have been better. The leaves are JUST entering peak szn and we got there on a weekday to check them out. I’ve never seen colors like this on trees from this view, so it was just really jaw dropping.
If you don’t know this history of this bridge do yourself a favor and hit up the Google machine. It’s quite interesting.
Been MIA for a bit with my camera. Trying to get back out there just having a good time enjoying summer otherwise. Shot my first “event” about a month or so ago, and it went ok. After seeing the pics I thought I could’ve done better but that’s what getting experience is about.
Here’s my “summer” shot of one of the paths between the cathedral and Heinz chapel. One more to go when the leaves start changing. This was from Saturday morning before campus got crazy and the kids came back! My camera died shortly after this because I forgot to check if it was charged before going out. 🤦🏻♂️
Hope to get back to taking more pics soon!

Finally, racing has come back to the steel city. I pretty much picked a camera up last April with the thought of getting pictures of races. So glad to finally have the opportunity.

A few pictures I captured this weekend at our annual 4th of July picnic.
The moon tonight was super bad ass. Before this evening the only shots I’d taken were either SUPER bright and washed out all details, or extremely dark so you couldn’t see anything besides the moon. I’m a student in this game and always looking to learn. After messing around with a few of the shots in Lightroom I’d almost given up again. Until I came across this one. I was able to adjust the settings and come up with this. I’m super stoked on it. I hope you like it too. This was from my front porch.
Forgot to pick the winner for the cardinal pic last night. Did it today. Kristen Stackiewicz with the win from the random name generator deal.
**GIVEAWAY**
Some people say that cardinals are a loved one coming to visit, or just a reminder of a loved one. I took this picture just about a month after the loss of my grandfather. I’ve sold a few prints of it, and I’ve given a few to family.
A friend of our family, for a long time, told me recently that they have a larger version hanging in their house and they love it.
I have one more 8x10 and I’d like to give it away to someone. If you or anyone you know would like this to remind you of a loved one just comment below with an 😇 and tag a friend who may also enjoy this print. That’s it. You don’t even have to be following me to win.
I’ll pick a winner Sunday night between Instagram and facebook.

Went out to Keystone State Park yesterday for a hike. I took my gear with me but didn’t see much, aside from this cool waterfall at the edge of the lake. Long exposure FTW!
