Saturday was a totally lovely day with these two extraordinary people! Congrats Michelle and Ian (and Phoebe)!

I’m so happy that the Roberto Clemente Bridge is open again! It was open to pedestrians since the Pirates were playing last night. So Laura and Yusuf popped out of their reception at the with me for a few photos around dusk. What a great night! Everyone was so happy for this beautiful couple - it was such a joy to spend the day with them😊

Today was a beautiful day for a wedding for two lovely people. Congrats Tatum and Sam!

I’m excited to share a couple of photos from Adona and Kyle’s most wonderful wedding day at yesterday! The love and joy of the day was something to behold. I am biased because I grew up just 4 miles from the venue but the countryside is as beautiful as anywhere I’ve ever been. I know that’s a lot of superlatives in a few sentences but I’m confident that everyone who was there would agree.

Maria and Joe’s wedding day was filled with tradition and joy! It was a documentary wedding photographer’s dream❤️ Following Carpatho-Rusyn custom, Joe showed up at Maria’s house to ask her mom for Maria’s hand only to be presented with false brides — like this very lovely broom😄 Then the couple knelt before their parents to ask their blessings and for forgiveness for trouble the caused growing up — as a dad, I love this idea! Off to St. John Chrysostom where the couple were wed in an Eastern Orthodox ceremony. At the end of the wedding the couple incorporated the Jewish tradition of breaking a glass. Then at the reception the couple was raised up in chairs during the Hora. Finally, a visit by Roc is the perfect ending to any Pitt alum’s wedding. I loved every minute!

How about this? An engagement session where they had their 1st date AND where John proposed to Tonya 5 years later!! Context makes for more meaningful photos. Thanks to the kind folks at - such a fun, hip place!

What a perfect evening for — especially since the weather has been so meh lately. Thanks to Adona and Kyle (and their pups!) for helping to cap off this busy week with a really fun portrait session.

Because Pittsburgh is awesome Claire and Antonio travelled from Ohio to get married! It was just the couple, Reverend Mark from and me on the Grandview Overlook. Wonderful!

This photo from Mary and Frank’s wedding was chosen by as one of 30 winners of their Celebrating the Ceremony contest! After the couple exchanged vows in front of their guests they signed the self-uniting marriage certificate in private. This was the moment when it became official!📜

What a great night! She said yes! Doug completely surprised Sara when he knelt down and pulled out an engagement ring at Phipps this evening. Congrats you guys — and welcome to Pittsburgh!

Two weddings in one day! Well, it was the same two people, but still😊 Abby and Aman had Western and a South Asian ceremonies at Phipps yesterday afternoon. They were beautiful and intimate with just their families in attendance. The staff at proved just how awesome they are by facilitating both of the ceremonies - it’s a pleasure to work with such great professionals. Anyway, after two weddings this weekend I’m busy editing but very excited to share some photos so check back.
