Lama Sonam's weekend teachings on Vajrasattva and Phowa concluded today at Three Rivers Tibetan Cultural Center.

Venerable Lama Konchok Sonam, Spiritual Director of the Drikung Meditation Center in Danvers, MA, will be visiting us in Pittsburgh for teachings and an empowerment on Vajrasattva and Phowa transmission from July 12 – 14, 2024. At the First United Methodist Church this weekend for Ven. Khenchen Rinpoche's Teaching on the Five-Fold Path of Mahamudra. Such a joyous gathering of people learning and celebrating on Saga Dawa day. May this benefit all beings.

Khenchen Rinpoche is known for his profound wisdom, compassionate heart, wonderful sense of humor, and dedication to the Dharma. He has inspired students all around the world, and his teachings continue to have a profound impact on the lives of those who study with him. Between 1983 and 1990 Rinpoche translated critical Drikung Kagyu practices, prayers, and liturgies from Tibetan into English. He has authored more than a dozen books on the topics.
