Playing around with some new textures

So proud of these! It was great to get to make something for my awesome pal Carly DeLeone!

I've been having a ton of fun making art for other folks, but today I decided to make something for myself 💜

Painting was my first love in art. Underglaze allows me to combine that love with ceramics ❤️

Meet Cass:

When attending college as an undergraduate presidential scholar (a fairly prestigious designation), I was asked in front of the college president “What do you think helped you earn this merit?” My response? “Being quirky.” The answer was met with some confusion and a few chuckles. I explained “By being different, I am able to interact with the world in ways that others may not even think of.”

Growing up as neurodivergent and q***r, I have learned to love being different. It allows me to look at the world through a lens that finds beauty in unlikely places.
I work as a part time mental health professional providing outpatient therapy to a wide array of clients. In my free time, art has become my favorite form of self-care. It is my hope that I can spread some whimsy by sharing my creations with others.
