Last night one of our board members, Greg Arcuri, had the pleasure of presenting our 2024 Mort Parker Scholarship to Matthew Colwell.
Matthew has participated in the high school musical pit orchestra for 3 years and designed our BWFTA logo that we now use!
It was a great honor to recognize many seniors graduating!

Last night at Baldwins production of Mary Poppins JR members of the BWFTA presented Kathy Hawk a present in recognition of her upcoming retirement. Mrs Hawk started this program over 25 years ago and her final production Mary Poppins JR is one for the history books.
The team gifted Mrs Hawk a quilt showing every show she has done since she started the program all those years ago.
You are “practically perfect” in every way and it has been a “jolly holiday” with you! Here is to Mrs Hawk and the incredible legacy she leaves ❤️

You made everyone’s dream come true for one last Lovely Night!

You made our wish come true: we are SOLD OUT for tonight! We cannot say THANK YOU enough to our district and surrounding community. We are so excited to create magic on stage for one final time tonight!

Just like yesterday: there are several parking lots available at BHS, but please be mindful and patient. Doors to the lobby open at 6, auditorium doors open at 6:30. The show begins at 7PM. Please try to carpool when possible, drop off at the door if needed, and give yourself enough time to park!

The time has come for The Prince is Giving his Final Ball. Tonight our beloved students and staff put on their final production of Rogers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella. It seems just Ten Minutes Ago practice began and everyone was just starting rehearsals. Through hard work and dedication the students have put on an enchanting production filled with Impossible things.
To the incredible seniors. Whether this is your first show ( or last show) enjoy the final curtain call. Tonight will be one last Lovely Night. A thank you to all of your work over the years and continued success after graduation. There is Music in All of You
A final thank you to the parents who have worked hard helping the students behind the scenes with costumes set or working the house each night.
Enjoy the final Ball, Waltz, and Banquet as you close out another great BHS production

Happy summer! We hope you’re all enjoying your time off, and hopefully getting excited about the new year with BHS Theatre. While we aren’t quite ready to announce show titles yet, we wanted to make sure you have the dates to add to your calendars!

The biggest change is that our play is moving from January to November! We believe this change is best for the kids, to help eliminate some schedule stress and provide more focus for the play in the fall. The play production process will still take place primarily through the Theatre Class, but as always, students not in the class are able to audition + be involved! Due to the way spring break lands this year, the spring musical is pushed to April.

We are looking forward to another great year together, and hope to make announcements about the shows soon! In the meantime: save the dates 💜
