Others are not even the actual 'killer' but if they were involved in any manner will get the same sentence as the person who took a life.
Many lifers may not even be guilty of any crime, but simply are offered a plea bargain and are afraid of getting the death penalty if they don't accept the lesser plea of life without parole.
