What a great day for a beer collab with two of our favorite breweries Allegheny City Brewing + Fermata Brewing Company, PLUS a holiday fundraiser for our good friends at Bridges From Kuwait

In case you don’t already know, Bridges from Kuwait is a locally based 501c3 non-profit organization. In addition to a full-time career, Tarra has devoted her efforts and passion to rescuing hundreds of sick and stray cats from the nation of Kuwait over the past several years. I personally have adopted four cats from Bridges since 2020, so being able to give back with the help of our followers literally means the world to us!⁣

We’ll be contributing 25% of our total sales for this evening, plus all the tips we receive. We’ve ran this fundraiser with great success in the past, but this will be the first time we’ve partnered with a brewery for the occasion, and we’re looking forward to the results!⁣

Hello friends! Sooo, just wanna give y’all a heads up that tomorrow’s shift in Latrobe will be this gal’s last dance on the sushi truck, and man what a run it has been!! We’ve spent the past 4 years grinding it out on this thing.. tweaking the processes, refining our methods, bickering about the amount of nuts on her poke bowls.. but honestly, I couldn’t imagine having made it this far without her help and endless devotion to this business..⁣

Most of you know her as that girl who makes the dopest poke bowls in the city, plenty of you call her a friend, but she’s been my (hate this cliché but can’t think of better) RIDE OR DIE for the past 38 years. Kelly, you will be missed dearly, and thank you for everything ❤️ ⁣

Hey Northside followers! I’m afraid we’ve got some bad news to share. The flight which carries our king salmon from NZ to Philly was delayed, forcing us to remove salmon-related items from our menu today and today only. We’ll have it fresh and ready for Wednesday evening when we visit from 4:30-8:30

Great news gang!! Helltown Taproom Export has decided to stay open for the evening, which means we probably won’t have to vacuum-seal and freeze 20 lbs of fish 🙌🏻 ⁣

Bridges From Kuwait Rescue is a cat rescue in Pittsburgh, PA that works with rescuers in Kuwait (and sometimes other countries) to bring cats to the Pittsburgh area for adoption and find them loving, forever homes⁣
⁣
Although a wealthy country, most people in Kuwait have no value for animals. The streets are full of stray and dumped pets. They are bought as "toys" and when they don’t want them anymore they dump in them streets without thinking of the consequences. Beautiful pure bred cats are eating out of dumpsters. They cannot survive the heat or dodge the cars and often die. Many get picked up by the wrong people and taken to the flea market (Friday market) and are sold. These cats have never been vaccinated and the market is full of viruses where they end up dying⁣
