To a person who uses a wheelchair, their wheelchair provides them with independence. When that wheelchair is broken, suddenly their independence is snatched away from them. Airlines have a history of being careless when it comes to transporting individual's wheelchairs and need to start being held accountable and providing more education for their employees to prevent the destruction of wheelchairs such as this one.
