This past Monday, we celebrated Arthur Colville's remarkable 40-year career at 5801 Ellsworth Avenue. He joined us in 1984 as a bartender and trainer for a new restaurant/bar called New York, New York, and has been a cherished fixture ever since. His career spanned two business entities and six different owners. Over the years, he has served thousands of customers, sharing his unique perspectives on the world through his warm hospitality and personable demeanor. His passions for art, gardening, travel, and literature have always sparked engaging conversations. In honor of this milestone, the lower bar has been dedicated as Arthur's Place. Congratulations, Arthur!
