Three things to avoid prior to your next photo shoot:⁠

Drastic changes to your hair > getting your routine cut & color refresh is totally fine ... in fact, I recommend it, BUT don't make a huge change.
⁠
Cosmetic procedures > even if you routinely get these done, be mindful of the timing. Unanticipated swelling or bruising can happen.⁠
⁠
Alcohol > dehydration can make your skin look blah & your eyes look tired. Stay hydrated & fresh faced!!

🥂 C H E E R S 🥂 to 11 years!

That's right ... I'm officially celebrating 11 years of business this month! It's hard to believe that's it's been that long, & I'm so grateful for each year that passes.

Being a small business owner certainly has its perks, but it also has its fair share of challenges, set backs, & uncertainties, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. I absolutely LOVE what I do.

When I started my business in 2013, I had NO idea how to run a business (some days I still feel that way .... can anyone relate??), I took risks & failed at times, I pivoted & made a huge shift in my business completely starting over, even opening a studio mid-pandemic.

And I'm still kickin'

It's been a fun ride thus far, & I'm looking forward to all of the twists & turns ahead. I'll be working on some new projects this upcoming summer along with ALL of the brand sessions & products that'll be coming into the studio. I can't wait to share what's in store here.

A HUGE thank you to all of my clients - past, present, & future & for those of you who spend time with me here in my little corner of the internet. I'm forever grateful for your continued support. I certainly wouldn't be here without each & every one of you 😘

FAQ: How far out should we book a session?

Each business is different. Deadlines are different, needs for imagery are different, it's all different.

HOWEVER ....

In general, for my branding sessions, I like to have at least 3+ weeks to allow proper time for planning.

Wanna know the key to a successful session?

PLANNING!

Having enough time to plan makes all the difference. With 3+ weeks out, we are looking at June and beyond!
