LDI # # worked in partnership with the Beaver Falls CDC to develop a detailed, actionable plan around focus areas aimed to better understand the needs of Beaver Falls. Thank you to the Beaver Falls Community Development Corporation and all community members for welcoming the cohort into your neighborhood. LPInc. is proud to engage with this incredible community in Southwestern PA.

This month, Leadership Pittsburgh XL took a deep dive into regional policy at the Pennsylvania Capitol in Harrisburg, PA. Thank you to the Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC team for co-leading and sponsoring this experience for the cohort – Jarah C. Doosé, LDI # # , Charles J. Kolling, Jr., Erin C. Molchany, LP # # , and Randy P. Vulakovich, LDI XV, YALP I.

LP XL was honored to meet with Josh Shapiro, Governor of Pennsylvania, Office of the Governor of Pennsylvania, and Lt. Governor Austin Davis, Lt. Governor of Pennsylvania. The cohort had the invaluable chance to discuss policy in relation to the betterment of our region.

To end the visit, the cohort visited the House Majority Caucus and the Senate Majority Caucus. The class heard from Rep. Joanna McClinton, Speaker of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, Timothy J. O’Neal, LP # # , Republican Whip of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, and Kim Ward, President Pro Tempore of the Pennsylvania Senate.

LP XL had thoughtful and engaging conversations to benefit Southwestern Pennsylvania. LPInc. thanks all the legislators for graciously offering their time and extensive knowledge to LP XL.

Leadership Development Initiative # # recently spent the day at The Club Teen Center in McKeesport, PA thanks to the support of Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania and their President & CEO Chris Watts, LDI XXVII.

The cohort was joined by Pete Mendes, LP XXIV - Leadership Pittsburgh Inc. Board Chair and Mendes Consulting LLC to explore the responsibilities of nonprofit boards.

LDI # # was introduced to nine Leadership OnBoard (LOB) host organizations. LOB offers firsthand experience with nonprofit boards, by allowing select participants to serve a 1-year placement on the board of organizations making a positive impact in the region. This year’s LDI LOB Host Organizations include:
