It was a fantastic week celebrating our inspiring and outstanding CNA’s, our Melbourne Father’s and Flag Day!

A beautiful morning in the Neighborhood garden for Intergrative Movement with Pam and Sollena.

Today, we honor Juneteenth, a celebration of freedom and the enduring spirit of resilience in our nation's history. At Wingate Living, we recognize the significance of this day and its importance in commemorating the end of slavery in America.

We’re kicking off National CNA (certified nursing assistant) Week in a BIG WAY!! We are grateful every day for these remarkable staff and the loving care they provide to our residents. The residents put together goodie bags for them all. More fun to follow!!

The Neighborhood has been unbelievably busy lately!! They are on a mission to feed the birds and are hanging up the beautiful birdhouses that they painted.

The Neighborhood had a special visit and concert with the members of FIRE PITT!! What an amazing time they had!!

Our Neighborhood residents participating in the first session of “Forget Me Not” an art program Berkshire Alzheimer’s Partnership has created for those living with dementia.

Our knitters under the direction of Life Enrichment’s Sandra Kenyon have created some gorgeous lap blankets to donate to local charities!

Not to be out done by the Neighborhood, the Traditional residents had their turn experiencing all the fun that Woodlife Farm has to offer!! Suffice it to say “THEY LOVED IT!!”

The Neighborhood residents and staff enjoyed the beautiful sunshine and took time to make the outdoor garden space look AMAZING!!

It was the quintessential, perfect day today as the residents were entertained by Bruce Mandel. The temperature was perfect, and there was a beautiful, breeze blowing that kept everybody comfortable as they enjoyed the performance. Happy Friday indeed!!

The Neighborhood had a fantastic outing to Woodlife Farm Market today! They are becoming regulars😂🍦Thanks Sollena and James for making the trip possible!

The Neighborhood residents are getting more and more creative every week!! Hello Spring!!

We had a lovely Mother’s Day Luncheon with lots of families in attendance. Much love to all our Melbourne Moms!! Dining Services served up a meal to remember!!

Thank you so much to all our residents who designed these GORGEOUS arrangements! This was the finale to our Nurse’s Week 2024 celebrations!

Day 3 of National Nurses Week! The residents rehearsed for weeks and did a comedic tribute to all our nurses! The skits were hysterical, as each resident recalled a time when that nurse had helped them in their time of need. Special props and costumes made it all the better!!

The Neighborhood had a beautiful day to explore Woodlife Farm Market in New Lebanon, NY.

The Neighborhood created some AMAZING grape hyacinth art with Gail Broyles. Before completing their artwork, they took a walk outside so they could smell and see a real one.
