Meet our new Physical Therapist Matt Berliner, PT, DPT, CSCS.
Matt received his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of Miami (FL). He then completed the University of Pittsburgh Orthopedic Clinical Specialist Residency program where he became resident trained in orthopedic manual therapy.
He holds the following certifications:
-Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association
-Level 1 Titleist Performance Institute for Golf Rehabilitation
-American Institute of Balance to treat Vertigo, Balance, and Post-Concussion Syndrome
- LSVT BIG to treat Parkinson’s Disease
Matt spent his first 8 years working at the University of Rochester Sports Medicine treating orthopedic and sports medicine patients serving on the Spine and Knee Teams. He spent has last 4 years managing the Atkin Center Outpatient Rehabilitation Center for the Jewish Home of Rochester.
Matt grew up playing baseball and football where he played college football at Brockport State. Hobbies include: working out, golf, boxing and spending time with his family…also Go Bills!
Meet our new trainer, Josh! Josh is a certified movement and strength coach, specializing in joint health and injury prevention. He grew up bowling, playing football, and was a sprinter in track. Josh enjoys going to concerts, watching movies, and spending time with his wife and son. Welcome to the 585 Family, Josh!!!!
Meet our new trainer, Amir! He is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and is currently completing the following specializations: Certified Nutrition Coach, Weight Loss Specialization, Group Fitness Instructor, and Performance Enhancement Specialization. Amir was the head freshman boys basketball coach at Eastridge High School. He grew up playing basketball and soccer. Current hobbies include training for a half-marathon and spending time with family. Welcome to the 585 Family, Amir!!!!

James Wood is our Player of the Month!
Meet our new trainer, Reese!!! Reese graduated from SUNY Brockport with a degree in both Exercise Science and Kinesiology in 2018 and has been training/ coaching since. He is a certified strength and conditioning coach and a functional movement specialist. Reese grew up playing soccer, swimming, and running track and pursued a collegiate career in swimming. If he’s not at the gym, you can find him on around town training for a triathlon. Welcome to the 585 Family, Reese!!!
