It is with great sadness that we share this news. Dallas Snipers player Ryan Nicks lost his mother Lori Nicks - his only parent - in a tragic accident yesterday. Lori was a counselor at Clark High School in Plano and was adored by those who knew her. We know the Nicks family has been active in local hockey circles for a number of years, and many of you share in our heartache and have asked how you can help support Ryan in some way.
A Go Fund Me account has been set up for Ryan via the Dallas Snipers booster club to help Ryan with any immediate expenses, and then any he may face over the next year while he finishes high school, plans for college and continues his hockey career.
