Yesterday I was able to attend the Women’s Health and Business Expo organized by THE . I shared information on financial wellness, so many essential topics were covered.

Today I was able to shared info on anatomy and physiology during pregnancy with the new TriNatal Yoga Pregnancy and Postpartum teachers. We also discussed what to look for when referring their students to pelvic health therapists and the ability to get second opinions. I’m so looking forward to them graduating and sharing with their communities!!!

Throwback to last week when I was able to join Dr. Nabors for Dr. McCuen’s class at ‘s class to chat about entrepreneurship. I really enjoy this topic and helping guide folks along their professional and personal journeys.

Entrepreneurship looks different for everyone. Stay in your lane and grow as you need. No need for comparison and make sure you know your personal signs of burnout. Get the mentorship. So glad some fellow PTs and students have pushed me to start my program. All about work-life balance over here!

Let me tell y’all about tonight. I was on a Zoom meeting with and preparing for next week. Technically we were wrapping up, but started having a deep discussion (can’t wait for next week) and I received a call from my client. “It’s time, we’re in the car heading to the birth center.” I switched the Zoom to my phone since I was the host and jumped in the car.

Another birth at ! I arrived within minutes of my clients. She was already at a 9 in less than 5 minutes of arrival. 40 minutes later a new little one was born.

Rock star team! Mom and Dad were wonderful and made it to 9 at home with phone and text check-ins from doula and midwife. They were prepared!

Great way to bring in a new month. Early this morning I was able to assist two fellow PTs as they welcomed their baby boy into this world. They advocated for their birth preferences and they worked hard for it.

Afterwards we all discussed the latest Starbucks drinks for the Fall and the postpartum recovery program all of my clients get. Happy Parenthood Journey!

What an amazing birth!! Little guy made the decision between Mom Virgo and Dad + Doula Leos. At exactly 39 weeks he made his mind up that he wanted to come roaring into this world on the last day of our season 😂 (hey Leos can be competitive).

Mom arrived at 6 cm less than 4 hours later, her first birth.

Unmedicated, en caul (my first), and doc almost didn’t make it into the room. She made it look easy. We focused on all the things she learned during birth prep. Dad practiced after our comfort measures session and was a pro! They knew the progression due to completing the childbirth education course and were telling me where they were in the process. Prepared for lactation because they set up and attended their prenatal lactation consultation.

Proactive birth prep!!!

Mom, Dad, and Baby Boy are doing great!!!

Long time, no post. I have been out here teaching students of physical therapy, prepping births, supporting births, assisting with healing from birth and breastfeeding concerns, celebrating 1st bdays, coaching health and wealth balance, speaking engagements, and traveling (domestic and international).

All of this while maintaining my life balance, which included not posting as much on SM. It’s been wonderful.

I’m not of the hustle and grind culture. I prefer to eat, sleep, and travel. One of my first private practice clients once said she hoped I gave myself the same grace I encouraged in all of my clients and that stuck with me.

I’m back for now and ready to drop some knowledge. This week has already been a week, but I’m still smiling. It’s Leo season, why wouldn’t I smile?

Great day for another non-traumatic birth.

41 weeks 5 days and OBs and RNs were amazing with no pressure. Listened to her and we all worked as a team.

Happy Birthday to a new family and dad even brought in a Polaroid camera to keep up with progress. Their playlist was 🔥 and everyone complimented it when they came in.

Had the BEST morning wake up call. Virtual doula client stuck at 8cm and needed suggestions! With the assistance of the amazing nursing staff and her wonderful husband we were able to get her in various positions.

Look, if you are going to help virtually you need multiple teaching methods to get your message across.

To hear the newborn cries 😭. Mama was looking like a Queen during the entire labor process and now their family is complete.

The parents did the work to get educated and practice techniques prior to labor. This is why prenatal meetings prepare you. This was their goal and they followed through to have the birth they desired.

Shout out to the amazing hospital staff and their OB at for serving our client in a safe and non-pressured environment. Just like it should be!

So happy I was able to be a part of the journey for the June 2021 Cohort ‘s Pregnancy and Postpartum Yoga Teacher Training. Some amazing and beautiful teachers are about to come into this Birth World!

Little ones are the boss and this one decided today was the day! Congrats to the beautiful family!!!

Happy June! I spent the first day dancing with a client and her husband at Club Labor to get the month started off right.

As part of Sisterhood Month I had the privilege of hosting a virtual yoga session. Mindfulness and movement. So needed! ❤️
