My name is Durkhana Dar (Miss Hana), and I am honored to serve as the director here since last November. Originally from Fremont, California, where I began my journey as a director in 2019, I made Texas my home last year. I have an associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from North Carolina, and I’m currently working on my bachelor’s in Behavioral Health Sciences. Since 2015, I’ve been blessed with hands-on experience with children, which has only deepened my commitment to early education.

My philosophy is simple but powerful: each child is unique, learning and growing in their own way. As educators, our role is to create an environment that nurtures this uniqueness, helping them to build a strong foundation for life. The Montessori approach has always inspired me, and I’m passionate about fostering a place where each child can flourish.

She doesn’t just care for the children—she actively enriches their early development by teaching them sign language, Spanish, dance, music, and colors, all while creating a warm and nurturing learning environment.

Her ability to create a strong bond with both infants and their families is truly remarkable, and she consistently provides exceptional support to ensure each child feels loved and secure. From helping babies with their daily routines to guiding them through new experiences, Miss Alex’s impact is immeasurable.

One of her many gifts is even managing to get all the little ones to nap together—no small feat for any teacher!
