In my 25 year career, I’ve worked at the big corporate spas, and the clinical physician owned spas. When I created The Skin Studio 12 years ago my vision of an Eco chic skin care boutique was born! Most importantly I wanted you to feel comfortable and relaxed in a luxurious and clean space, where you don’t have to choose between high-tech or pampering– you get both!

A place you get everything you need and nothing you don’t. Whether it’s the high-tech Hydrafacial MD or the 4000 year old tradition of Gua Sha massage, my promise to you is to use that holistic high-tech approach to create your best skin ever 🙌🏻

My ambition and commitment to myself is to always be re-investing in myself through high-level professional coaching, striving for physical and spiritual health with personal training and making sure my Chihuahuas Jax and Ozzy feel as pampered as my clients 🐶

It’s official! Winter is here!
❄️And with the temperatures changing and hitting single digits in just a few days, your skin is probably going to be needing some changes too.
❄️ invest in a humidifier-dry air at home could be a reason why your skin constantly feels dry. Use a humidifier to bring back moisture, 💦especially while you sleep.
❄️ use a hydrating mask at least once a week-there are plenty of hydrating masks available for dry and even ethnic skin that can be dehydrated. DM me if you need a recommendation for your skin type.
❄️ use a face oil to seal in moisture-face oils hydrate and protects the skin barrier to relieve, dry, dull, and even irritated skin
❄️ eat good fats-this should be an easy one for you, 🙌🏻 especially during the holidays. Make sure to add a few extra healthy, nuts, seeds, and even a few avocados into your weekly diet plan. This will help your skin to hold onto the moisture you give it.

Posted • The skin always knows what it is doing. We see a skin condition and immediately think our skin is misbehaving. We think a “trigger” occurred and either needs trauma or medication to be cured.

Our skin is brilliant. It works 24/7 with precision with thousands of different actions every second, minute, and hour.

Look at your skin events as perfect responses to the environment and what is occurring internally. When you realize your skin is behaving properly in the case of Acne, Eczema, Psorisis… etc and what it’s doing is releasing toxin behavior throughout the body. Everything works together. All skin conditions show you are being exposed and it’s causing harm to your system. The only way the toxins can come out is usually in the form of a “skin event.”

Don’t look at your skin event with disgust or anxiety. Don’t add to the wound. See your Acne/Aging Specialist.
