Sign Classes are here! This class is designed to provide a pathway to begin communicating with your Deaf/Hard of Hearing child. Throughout the class we will discuss different sign options as well as provide Deaf perspectives and information on opportunities to grow within the Deaf community. Classes will be taught in ASL or SEE. Parents choose which communication mode works best for their family.

It’s almost OT month!

‘CODA’ Wins 3 Oscars, Including Best Picture A film about a typically hearing teenager in an otherwise Deaf family made history, winning all three nominated categories in last weekend’s Academy Awards and becoming the first film from a streaming service and first Sundance film to win Best Picture. 

We crossed the finish line! CLDC is proud to sponsor and support the Plano Regional Day School Program for the Deaf. Great turn out and beautiful weather yesterday for the 5K race!
