This is the last post for the Senior Parents Class of 2021. As the new school year approaches we would like to wish the new senior class - AVHS Senior Class of 2022 a wonderful year!
To the Class of 2021 - thank you for letting us celebrate you. It was a year to remember!! A lot of ups, downs and changes but you persevered through it all. We wish you all the best in the next chapter of your lives.
Be proud of yourselves, we are!

Congratulations to Pleasanton Unified's class of 2021 Ceremonies held closer to tradition in 2021. Graduates of Amador Valley, Foothill & Village high schools were able to walk across the stage and exchange elbow bumps with PUSD officials in-person this year.
If your senior did not pick up their diploma it will be mailed to the address on file in Q
Reminder for those attending Grad Night this evening.
Early check in today from 12 noon - 4 pm at the entrance of the Adult Softball Complex at the sports park. Come early and get your wristbands so you can skip the line at 5 pm.
If you haven't turned in your waivers (bring them BOTH), photo proof of Covid vac card or negative Covid test and student id.

As a friendly reminder for TONIGHT, please expect traffic slowdowns and/or delays near:
🔵 Foothill HS: along Foothill Road from 5-7 pm
🟣 Amador Valley HS: along Santa Rita Rd from 7-9 pm
Graduates, please have a safe and sober grad night. If you are impaired, please designate a sober driver, call a parent/guardian or call a rideshare company. If you need us, call 9-1-1 for emergencies or (925) 931-5100 for non-emergencies.
Graduation wristbands are for spectators attending graduation, not the graduates. Graduates will be identified by their cap/gown

As a reminder, please carpool as parking is extremely limited. All spectators must use the walking entrance from the Santa Rita parking lot near the Q building. Additional parking is available in the Del Valle or church parking lots. If you are parking there, please follow the signs to the front of the school and get in line near the Santa Rita lot gate.

Please make sure you/your GRAD are familiar w/the What to Bring to Grad Night email that was sent out. It is also posted here on FB, our Insta and Twitter accounts. We have very clearly outlined important details about check in, Covid requirements, parking & more.
Keep in mind we are offering EARLY CHECK IN where you child can come on Saturday between 1-4 pm and get their wrist band. This will help alleviate long lines at 5 pm.
We are really looking forward to hosting all those attending Grad Night 2021. Thank you for your support and cooperation.

Students attending Grad Night on Saturday, 5/29 must have the following items in order to enter the event. Without these items they will not be able to attend.
STUDENT ID - or screenshot from Q verifying you are an Amador Senior
WAIVERS - If you haven’t turned in your waivers yet, you may PRINT them and BRING THEM TO CHECK-IN AT THE EVENT

There is limited student parking at the Sports Park. We encourage drop off/pick up where possible. Parking beyond the first gate will not be accessible.

If you were a winner in the 21 day raffle and were not able to pick up your prize today don't worry. You will be able to pick up Mon - Wed of next week.
Individual prize envelopes will be available at the Activities desk window on Monday after 12:00 pm. Tell them you were a raffle winner, give them your name and show them your id.

REMINDER! Grad Night Waivers – Get them printed, signed & turned in by Friday, May 21st.
All students attending Grad Night on Saturday, May 29th MUST have waivers on file! There are TWO waivers required for each student:
1. The First is the Grad Night Consent Form (3 pages in total, requires BOTH student and parent signatures)
2. The second is the Plan It Interactive Games Form (1 page)
You must print both waivers, fill them out completely and sign them. Then you or your Senior can drop them off at the school office anytime M-F from 7 AM - 4 PM. There is a plastic bin outside the door labeled Grad Night Waiver forms.

Congratulations Day 14 Winners!
The next couple of weeks are going to be busy for all with deadlines for us all. As the Senior Parent group is wrapping up all the details related to our upcoming virtual baccalaureate and Grad night 2021 we ask that you try to honor the deadlines set. Our volunteer committee is working hard to finish this year strong and make the final days for the Class of 2021 as awesome as we can.
Please help us out and make sure to print out your Grad Night Waivers and drop them at the school office NO LATER than Friday, May 21st. There are two waivers (Grad Night consent & Plan It Interactive Games) and they need to be filled out COMPLETELY.
NOTE: We CANNOT accept incomplete forms or allow entrance if these are not on file for your student.
These waivers have been emailed to you and they can also be found on our website on the Grad Night tab @ http://www.amadorseniorparents.org/grad-night.html if (scroll down to WAIVERS section).
There is a plastic bin outside the door labeled GRAD NIGHT WAIVER forms. You or your student can drop these off. Again the deadline to drop these waivers off is NO LATER than Friday, May 21st.
