Athletes, both young and old alike, consistently need to work on foot speed and agility throughout their career. All our athletes are given ladder and cone drills to perform throughout our entire 8-month program while our SPQ athletes are given a few ladder drills to perform every time they train with us!

Rounding out our summer with our endurance workouts will help give our athletes a muscular endurance advantage. Two blocks: 3 sets of 20 reps for each exercise, 6 exercises back-to-back, with only 30 seconds rest between sets is a glute-kicker!

Link in bio for today’s Zoom workout, which is in less than TWO HOURS! All the equipment you will need is your stick and skates (if you don’t have dumbbells) and a garbage bag stuffed with clothes (if you don’t have a med ball), and your backpack stuffed with as many books as you can lift!

Todays challenge is to take a walk. You will stop at every house around your block, add up the individual number from the house (example 2990 Hockey Lane = 2+9+9+0 = 20 reps) and perform that amount of reps. Alternate between doing squat jumps and push ups. •

One tips for this week is how to create an at-home alternative for TRX straps. There are a few exercises this week that we have out in as “Bed Sheet” exercises. Here is how to make your “bed sheet” equipment. •
•
1) cut a bedsheet the long way and tie knots at the end of the half-sheet
2) hang the sheet over a door frame, pulling until the knot is right at the edge of the door. Shut the door with the knots on the other side.
3) use the hanging sheet to do the “bed frame” exercises during this week’s workouts! •

Today challenge is a Ladder Challenge. Perform 10 Burpees followed by 1 Squat, then 9 Burpees followed by 2 Squats, then 8 Burpees and 3 Squats, so on until you hit 1 Burpee and 10 Squats. Yesterday we added Phase II to our At-Home Training Plans. If you don’t see the plan in your profile yet, here are a couple ways to refresh your app to see Phase II. •
1. Click into “exercises” and the close out. Once you click into “plans” again, Phase II should appear. •
2. If that doesn’t work, simply log out of the app and login immediately. Once you login again, Phase II will appear under your “plans” tab. •

Today’s daily challenge is who can finish 100 push-ups in the quickest time? Record how long it takes you to perform 100 push-ups (touching a soup can at the bottom of the push-up for reference), post a short clip of you doing the challenge to your story, letting us know how long it took you to make it to 100! •

No excuses. Here is another example of one of the Girls one the hockey team from China that is utilizing our FHIT performance app to stay in shape. She is not able to be with the team because the Virus has travel limited. She didn’t let that stop her from training. This program was designed to be done anywhere with no equipment.
