Join Sarah on Tuesdays at 6:30PM for Beginner Reformer.

The class you’ve been looking for! A group reformer class available for a limited time on our schedule. With this class you will get a great overview of the reformer and the basic exercises, but nothing short of a great workout. The reformer is great for lengthening, strengthening and connecting to your body. Space is limited to 3, so sign up now!

Meet Sarah.

Sarah has studied dance for over 20 years, including dancing professionally with Ballet Chelsea, and teaching dance for 5 years. While studying at Goucher College in Maryland, she took her first Pilates class, which lit the spark to take an introductory Pilates course. Sarah fell in love with how she felt after a workout, and noticed the positive impact practicing Pilates had on her dancing and daily life. She graduated in 2016, with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Dance.

Sarah has decided to combine her passions of helping people, movement, and teaching to become a Pilates instructor. She has completed her comprehensive teacher training through MOVE Wellness in Ann Arbor. Sarah is excited to join the Core Sport team and to begin helping people reach their fitness goals and feel more present in their bodies. In her free time, Sarah likes to travel, play board games, and spend time with her family, friends, and cats.

Meet Kim.

Kim has always enjoyed group fitness classes such as cardio, weight training, cycle and kick boxing. However, once she came to Core Sport, she knew she had found the perfect mix of balance, strength, and flexibility. Kim was inspired by Lisa and the other instructors at Core Sport to take her love of pilates to the next level through the RPC teacher program, which she started in 2023.

Even though Kim is relatively new to the Pilates industry, she does have experience teaching; she has a degree in education, and spent several years as a elementary school teacher.
She has four children and in her free time she loves to travel, ski and be with friends and family. Kim’s goal to have other people fall in love with Pilates, just like she did!

Join Kim on Sunday mornings beginning 5/20/24:

And Wednesday evenings starting on 5/22/24:

Meet Jen.

Jen is a passionate well-being professional and health coach who has worked in the corporate well-being/Lifestyle Medicine healthcare field for over 19 years. Jen likes to empower individuals to see that health & well-being can come in all different shapes, sizes, and mindsets. She really enjoys helping individuals with their desired wellbeing goals in a manner that best suits their needs and lifestyle. Jen holds certifications from NASM, MOVEWell, Balance Body, TRX and is a Master Certified Health Coach through the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute. In her spare time, she enjoys Olympic lifting, hiking, and trying new whole-food plant-based recipes and desserts. She loves spending quality time with family and friends. She is also a little obsessed with her cat, Bob, and dog, Bella. Fun facts about Jen: She can speak Polish and she use to own her own fitness studio in West Michigan.
