Keep your eye out for chilly weather this weekend! Here are tips to protect your garden and plants from the cold:
🌺 Bring tropical plants, such as citrus trees, hibiscus, and mandevilla, indoors to a bright, warm location.
🌷 Some bulb plants, like colocasia and caladiums, can be cut back and stored in a cool, dark basement during the winter.
🌻 Cover inground plantings with frost blankets, burlap, or even cardboard boxes. These materials will help to trap heat and protect plants from cold temperatures. Avoid using plastic, as that material isn’t breathable and can contribute to moldy blossoms!

They mostly feed on soft-bodied insects and caterpillars, so they are beneficial for taking care of pests in your garden.
