As of yesterday, 05/06/24 at 6pm, both Floyd's Family Pharmacy #1 (Ponchatoula) & Floyd's Family Pharmacy #2 (Bedico), officially closed for business.

While this was the most difficult decision we have ever faced, the decision to close our pharmacies was inevitable due to low reimbursement from PBMs (Pharmacy Benefit Managers) "The Middleman", most of the time reimbursement from PBMs would be below our cost to fill a prescription. We could go on for days about the evils of PBMs & the amount of money they steal from Local Independent Pharmacies on a daily basis. We finally reached a point to where we couldn't survive as a business any longer with Reimbursements getting lower & lower as time went by.

With that being said, Floyd's Family Pharmacy #1 (Ponchatoula), where our Compounding Lab is located, will continue as a Compounding Only Pharmacy in the same location, The new Compounding Only Pharmacy is now,
Specialty RX Compounding & Wellness, & is under the same ownership & management.

We wanted to assure you that your retail pharmacy records and retail pharmacy needs are in good hands. That's why we've chosen Walgreens to continue your retail pharmacy care.

We have been gaining a lot of customers since several local family owned pest control companies have been selling to a national company. I worked for Ja-Roy which has also sold. I worked there for 7 years. I left JA-Roy and started Louisiana Pest Control March, 15th 2011.

If you’re looking for prices that will fit your budget, and they have to schedule someone to come to your house before they can provide you that information, hang up and call us! We will give you all the information you need over the phone, without unnecessary steps or hoops to jump through these other companies may be trying to make you do or go through. Also if you’re quoted a price over $100.00 for a first time general pest control service, you’re paying too much.
We, at Louisiana Pest Control, use the same or better products on the market. EVERYTHING we use is safe for humans and pets. We strive to make our process as simple and easy as possible to ensure our customers have a positive experience when using our services.

General Pest are pretty much everything except for: Termites, Bed Bugs, and Fleas. Ants may be a little more only if we have to spray more of your yard/lawn than what would be covered in our general spray. If we don’t have to use more chemicals, then ants will not be more than $100.00.
