The first guy was an idiot 👎 Doesn't want his dog anymore because he "runs off on him" and he's tired of chasing him 🤪

The second guy has two pits, not even a year old, who he needs to get rid of 😔

Vet day for Diesel too .. he did much better than Blitz 🤦 Blitz needed a muzzle and growled the whole time 😬

We said goodbye to Kim today 😭

Kim was a Miami Dade Animal Shelter survivor from the euthanasia because she had severe skin lesions all over her body, she was underweight, heartworm positive, and had difficulty walking 😢

She had surgery to remove the tumors, we treated the heartworm, she had a good diet and ate well, and her skin was looking good 👍

Kim started developing a lump by her rear and it was determined that it was the cancer and it was spreading aggressively 😢 We kept her comfortable with medication and it's been working 🙏 We were able to give her two great years 💕 She had an amazing foster, Virginia Springs , who cared for her 💕 She was amazing 🥰

Myself and Virginia were at Punta Gorda Animal Hospital this afternoon and because the cancer was spreading to her re**um and she was struggling to go to the bathroom, and the pain was making her rear leg shake, we made the tough decision to let her go 😞 She is finally pain free 🙏

R I.P. sweet girl 🙏😞💔

I just want to mention also about some of the fundraisers that are going on 🐾

We have a raffle going at the Genesis Full Salon Service in Punta Gorda thanks to my good friend Ann Messier-Bucceny 💕 The address is on the business card shown 👍

Visit Tommy's Car Wash in Murdock Port Charlotte, Fl by the end of this month to get your car or truck washed and tell them to apply your donation to Fairytail Endings Rescue 💕

I received quite a bit of items for a yard sale 👍 Unfortunately, the weather has been pretty unpredictable like it always is in the summer, so I have been selling the items online and doing much better than having an actual yard sale 😁 With the help of my awesome volunteer and friend Diane Patrick, we've been doing pretty good for the pups 🐾 So thank you for donating 👍 Instead of getting a dollar or two, we've been getting $10, $20 and our highest item went for $160 🎉

I will be posting another fundraiser later this afternoon 👍 An artist sent me three paintings that we will be selling where 100% of the proceeds go directly to the rescue dogs 🐾

Please keep in mind that we are always raising money for the dogs 🐾 It's important to continuously do this to keep going 🙏 We have a dog who has a tail amputation, a dog who had a leg amputation, we have four dogs in training, we also have a facility that we have to maintain with rent, with a water and electric bill 🐶

Thank you so much to my good friend Ann Messier-Bucceny who is a stylist there and she presented the idea to the owner and she was all in 💞 I appreciate this so much 🙏

Good morning 🌞 I want to talk about something that is always on my mind and just baffles me 🤔

So, most know that I have a 501c3 non profit dog rescue here in Florida. I make posts to get the dogs exposure so they can get into great homes 🏡 I make posts to highlight the crisis of abandoning dogs on the streets or dumping them in the overcrowded shelters 😩 I make posts to make ppl understand that a dog should be a lifelong commitment and their loyalty should matter 🐾 I make posts to make ppl understand the importance of spay and neuter 🙏 My posts have a purpose 👍 My posts are not to make me feel important, or for a pat on the back, or to make it about me ... It's not about me... It's all about the dogs 🐶

I also make my posts for a very important reason, and that's to inspire others and to make others aware that they can do this too 🙏 There is no "I wish I could help" or "someday I'll rescue a dog or cat" or "it's not the right time" , "I don't have the space"...

If you truly love animals, anyone can help 🙏 Do you think I had time or space 🥺 When I started, I was working at LEAST two jobs while raising three kids 👍 It was NOT easy. Started out with just one... That's one life saved that otherwise would have been killed 😔

To wrap this up, I'm trying to inspire others who say they love animals to follow suit.. you don't have to be an organization or have a big facility, you just need a passion and a room. That's it. So many lives depend on you 🙏 In the meantime, we can help by doing these things that will help TREMENDOUSLY!!!

#1. Spay and/or neuter your pets as soon as the vet says they're ready 🙏

#2. Keep your pet 💯 When you give up your pet that already had a home, you just killed two that are in the shelter 😔

#3. CHALLENGE your landlords if you are renting with these stupid rules about not having a pet or giving ultimatums 😡 THAT'S got to change and only you can do it! Don't give in!!!

#4. Know that your pet loves you more than they love themselves. They will die for you so don't throw them away like old furniture. They have true feelings and they matter 👍

#5. Start with one 🐾 Go to your local shelter or rescue and find a buddy 💞 Let's empty out these barbaric shelters and shut them down! As humans, we HAVE to do better.

I'm dedicating this $6 Saturday to Tex 🙏 Tex was a Miami Dade Animal Shelter survivor from the euthanasia list and adopted to someone who specifically wanted him. She was experienced with the breed, been involved with rescue and is a transporter. They went hiking a lot, and Tex was her companion. I could see that they were inseparable 💗 Tex was with this adopter for two years until yesterday 😞

Owner lost her home a few months ago and was moving around with Tex. She found places here and there but never said she couldn't keep Tex. I was trying to figure things out with her, even contemplating having her and Tex and her other dog stay at the rescue facility for awhile. But as dogs were getting returned and space never allowed it, she kept looking around. A few days ago, she told me she was going to send him to a shelter in California and request euthanasia because she didn't trust him anymore 🙄 Apparently, he was snapping at her 😞 I was dumbfounded to say the least 😡

I figured if I'm going to have to pay for boarding, I may as well pay for quality boarding where he'll get proper training and the help he'll need to heal from the loss of his home 😢 Tex is enrolled at Alpha Basic Training for Dogs and Humans, LLC with trainers Dan and Austin in Englewood, Florida and I know that Tex will come out a better dog 🙏

Please know that donating today, you will be helping Tex move on to a bright and healthy future 💕

I want to talk about the GOOD that comes out of rescue 🥰

I LOVE that moment when a dog is pulled from the euthanasia list and is walked OUT of the building for good 💪

I LOVE when a dog looks you in the eyes and they know they have been saved 💪

I LOVE when they finally get a good night's sleep on a soft blanket in an air conditioned safe place 💪

I LOVE when they know that they will never have to be stressed out in a shelter environment anymore 💪

I LOVE when they know that they will get two meals a day and multiple opportunities to enjoy a walk, or get some loving, or get some clean water whenever they want 💪

These are all things that some dogs will never experience because they will most likely never make it out of the shelter alive 🥺 But we are only as good as our community and we can only do what our resources allows us to do 🙏

Rio got his stitches out ... Back to boarding 😞

Rio, the abandoned dog wandering the streets of Arcadia, ended up in the front yard of a good Samaritan 😔 He was an intact male and the neighbors were shooting at him 😔

The good Samaritan called me and explained that he contacted every shelter in the surrounding area and naturally, they were all full 😞 I could hear the desperation in his voice 😢 He felt so bad for this boy but being a renter, his landlord said he couldn't stay 😡 THAT needs to change 💔

I hate to board this boy but I have no choice 😔 The rescue facility is full and there is a waiting list of dogs to come in 😭 Adoptions are not happening fast enough, so the waiting is miserable 😖

Please share him for an experienced foster 🙏 I only say experienced because he's very strong on the leash 💪 We've raised enough for him to get neutered and he got all his shots 🙏 We also raised enough for his boarding up to TODAY 👍
