Librela is the first Monoclonal Antibody treatment for arthritis pain in dogs. Librela is a once-a-month injection given under the skin. Since it is a biotherapeutic, it is not metabolized by the liver or kidneys, which means that it is a safer alternative to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. In severe cases of arthritis pain, Librela can be safely paired with other pain medications if needed. Good morning folks! We have great news! Finally, there is an injectable, long acting, arthritis medication for cats. We know that most cats will not tolerate long term oral medications. With Solensia, 1 injection per month will keep our feline friends pain free and mobile. Take a look at the statistics below. Good morning Folks. I cant say enough about our collingswood team. They showed up this morning ready to pick up debris, clean up the hospital and see patients. Until further notice, we are only seeing urgent care cases. We are able to refill medications if needed. Our current hours are 8 am to 2 pm as we are running the entire hospital on generator power amd want to conserve fuel. We wish you the best of luck as we all continue to rebound from hurricane Ian.

Hello Everyone! We have an announcement! After almost 30 years of serving our comminity, Dr. Janis Gilkison has retired. Although we are sad to see her go, we are very happy for her. She has served our patients with compassion and professionalism. Dr. G will not only be missed by the Collingswood team, but by the thousands of clients she served throughout the years. We wish her nothing but the best in her retirement. We know she's earned it!

Congratulations Dr. Gilkison on a retiring from a beautiful career as a veterinarian. You are one of the best! You crushed it!!!

Thank you to all of our clients for your support and patience this year. We are very appreciative. Its been a challenging year but we worked right through it. Today we celebrate Kim Peeler’s birthday! Kim has been our hospital manager for over a decade and she’s responsible for keeping Collingswood running smoothly. She wears many hats. Some of her responsibilities include hiring and scheduling team members, communications with distributor and manufacturer representatives, negotiating laboratory agreements, purchasing, receivables, banking, continuing education, scheduling service and repairs, client relations and setting up team workshops /team building events. Even though she is behind the scenes most of the time, it is primarily because of her that we are set up to provide the best veterinary care to our patients. We are very happy to celebrate her birthday today and look forward to many more!

Covid-19 protocol update

Hi everyone, as you are aware, the Federal Guidelines for Covid-19 have been extended until April 30th. In light of this news, we will be decreasing our office hours during the month of April. Effective tomorrow our new hours are as follows:
