Dr. Dylan Sweet grew up in Sebastian, Florida, and joined the United States Marine Corps a year after high school. He served from 2014 until 2017 as a combat engineer with the 8th ESB on Camp Lejeune. After being honorably discharged he decided to pursue his dream of veterinary medicine and moved to Tennessee to attend Lincoln Memorial University. It was here that his professors solidified his love of exotics medicine, with a special interest in our reptile and amphibian friends.

He and his fiancée have 2 dogs, a shepherd mix named Reeps, a husky named Kai, and an orange cat named Samwich Von Loaf. In his free time, he enjoys carpentry, computer or tabletop gaming, and playing with the dogs.
