Dr. Ratree absolutely changed my life! If I could give 100 stars that would still be too little. I went to see her 6 weeks post psoas impingement release surgery at Mayo Clinic. She was careful to explain how she would help me strengthen my hip and increase my range of motion. She carefully reviewed each exercise and how it would help me. Her mantra was do them SLOWLY. She took pictures of my gait as I walked. I went from walking "not too normal" to almost 100% normal. She suggested what exercises I was okay to do such as walking and yoga. She showed me exercises for the Swiss ball, Bosu ball, and exercise bands as well as mat exercises. She showed me exercises to help further release my hips. I told her I had a gym at my condominium where I could continue to do these things. Amazon also likes me because everything she had used on me I purchased lol. Dr. Ratree is a very caring and sensitive person. Great one on one communication. Additionally, I got laser treatments for pain. Highly recommend that too. She is like a detective and finds that pain. I was actually sad to leave but also so grateful for her help. My range of motion on my right leg has gone from near zero to near normal, and I'm going to continue working on it. Now my husband is going to her for hamstring treatment. Her clinic is different from other PT places I have experienced because it is not someone trying to just get you through a routine. I found her explanations very motivating. Thank you for all you do, Dr. Ratree. You rock!

I had a freak accident while working part time which resulted in torn ligaments in both knees. I was in a lot of pain and needed crutches to walk. I was sure I needed surgery, but I am sure glad I tried ActiveFit first, Dr. Ratree knew exactly which therapies to use to strengthen surrounding muscles and joints so I could regain stability, improve range of motion and reduce pain.
Bottom line is, she helped me get better without surgery. Dr. Ratree also helped to improve my posture and eat foods to promote better health and healing.

Following an unsuccessful knee replacement, I spent 2 years doing Physical Therapy in Lakeland, Florida. Due to nerve damage, I was unable to use my right leg. This made it impossible to do simple tasks such as dressing, bathing, or driving without aid. After moving to New Smyrna Beach, I began working with “Dr. King at “Activefit Physical Therapy. His methods teaching me stretching and functional exercises have allowed me to strengthen the leg and increase stamina, I have progressed from a walker to a cane and am now able to perform daily tasks on my own. Dr. King had prepared me well to continue my recovery journey at home.

I arrived limping into Activefit with a MCL knee injury from two months prior that had limited my range of motion and was now making it hard for me to even walk. My name is Ryan Webber, I am 35 years young, and I am from Ormond Beach, FL. I have been an athlete my entire life and in September of 2020, I was involved in a boat accident. I suffered 2 broken ribs, fractured T11 and T12, 8 bulging discs, 2 herniated discs, and had constant tingling in my left arm and fingertips. I had been receiving treatment elsewhere with no real results. They recommended nerve ablation and pain injections. When I refused these procedures, they said I was permanently injured. I refused to accept that. Thin threads led me to Dr. Ratree, and after just a few weeks she was able to un-pinch my nerve and stop the tingling. We discussed diet and how it can trap inflammation. I have been able to shed 12 pounds so far. My range of motion is getting better and better every day. I know that with continued treatment I will be able to get back to ME!
